To whomever might read this:
I am still searching for clues regarding my g.g.grandfather from the
Republic of Ireland. He came to America in 1836 at the age of about 28. In
Sept. 1840, he was a witness at a baptism somewhere in Maryland and by Feb.
1846 he was married in Cumberland, MD (Allegheny County). By 1848, he moved
his wife and family to Preston County, VA. His many names were Loughlin
Clerk/Laughlin Clarke/Loughrie Clark/Lockie Clark. So I estimate that he
was born about 1808 but I still have no definit proof of where in the
Republic of Ireland that he was born or came from. I have been told by
family members that he came from County Louth but to no avail I still have
no proof of that.
Thanks

A possible daughter of Daniel Clark Sr. of Tazewell Co., VA, is a daughter
named Abigail Clark who marries John Vincent in April of 1847. In 1850 Abigail
and John Vincent are living in Camden Co., MO. In 1870 and 1880 they are in
Furnas, Nebraska. Is anyone familiar with this family? Would like to prove
she is the daughter of Daniel Clark.
Dianna
Kathy, thanks for the info on the Information forms site. I have seen
several different "family forms" and the forms at this site are really good.
My family line is:
Daniel Clark - Tazewell Co., VA, Marion Co., IN, and Camden Co., MO
Daniel Clark Jr., -Camden Co., MO, Johnson Co., AR
John Edward Clark - Johnson Co., AR
Leon Clark - Johnson Co., AR, Tulsa, OK
Dianna Clark Gencarelli, Johnson Co., AR, Tulsa, OK
Looking for all Clarks in Camden Co., MO and Marion Co., IN. There were 21
children born to Daniel Sr. and I've only found 15 for sure, and three other
possibilities.

YOUR OWN MESSAGE!
Hi everyone, since the CLARK-WV and CLARK-PA Lists each have more than 80
subscribers, how about posting your queries or sharing family data with others
here on the lists and maybe finding a cousin or two?
Please try using a good subject line such as a full name, time frame and area
that your CLARK ancestors were in. If you have surnames directly connected be
sure to mention that too and give us as much detail as you can without making
your message too long.
Planning a trip to the cemetery to get tombstone photos of your CLARK family
members? Be sure to take the time to document in writing and by writing on the
back of the photos. I have a free form available on the Lincoln-Lancaster
County Genealogical Society (Nebraska) web site that you are welcome to print out
and use. There are several other free forms to print out and use also.
