Jane,
Thanks.
I have Lemuel Lee Clark b. 26 Jan 1780; d. 15 apr 1834, son of Samuel Clark
and Mary (Lee) Clark. Samuel and Mary are buried in Four Corners Cemetery,
Elba, NY.
The message below indicates he was most recently from Barre in Orleans Co.,
NY. His death date coincides with the 1835 date (in one instance below
typed 1853 - this old bug of transposing digits!) I checked the web page
and found the dates as in Jane's message. Wrote to the web makers calling
it to their attention.
I have no record of either Elisha Wright or Olean Clark. Does anyone know
of how they might fit in? Was Elisha perhaps the husband on one of his five
sisters?
Bob Letson

Okay, I have 11 children for this Lemuel Lee Clark, one of whom is shown as
Orlean (female), but no Olean (source is "Devlin, Jane",
(janedevlin(a)mpdr0.detroit.mi.AMERITECH.net), "Electronic," quoting Scott Benz,
historian for the town of Elba, New York.) Presumably these are one and the
same? Spelling of the name? Thanks and aloha.
