When going over the deeds that were posted earlier in the day,
Tracy & I noticed that the quit claims were signed by all the
children still alive in 1736 except for Eunice [written as Unice in the
will] Sutlief. Tracy just forwarded this information that shows that
Eunice was still alive at that time and married to Benjamin
Johnson. Has anyone run across an explanation of why she would
not have been included on the quit claim deed?

Tracy (Thompson) Tomaselli recently found this deed and the next
one I'm going to post in Durham. They are quit claim deeds issued
by the various benefituaries in the will of Nathaniel SUTLIEF of
Durham, whose will can be found in the Guilford Probate Records.
Tracy sent me copies and I transcribed them.

These early marriage records for the CLARK surname are from the
Barbour Collection. Unfortunately for researchers today, the
maiden name of the bride was not included in the town records
where these were originally recorded. The names in ( )s were,
I believe, added later. Notes in [ ]s are ones I've added - additions,
corrections and further sourcing to those would be appreciated..
