Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hi, Nancy.. I already have.. the descripton that will go into the
directory of mailing lists will read:
"CLARK. The CLARK-WM-HADDAM mailing list is for the
discussion and sharing of information on the ancestors and
descendants of William CLARK who immigrated from England,
resided for a period of time in Hartford, CT, and was one of the first
settlers of Haddam, Middlesex Co., CT." They sent me the
message to ok the listing after the Review had already been sent
out <sigh>.. I should have tried to get an _OF_ in there, but I didn't
want the name to be too long..

Michael, I'll send the files to your email address. [I almost attached
them to this message going to the list, which is a no-no <g>] For
most of the files, I'm just the typist - Nancy, Elaine & Beverly
gathered the information and sent it to me via snail mail and I
turned it into electronic format so they could send it out easily. If
it's ok with them, I have no problems sharing with anyone and
everyone. I've received so much help from others that it's nice to
be able to return the favor.

Now that we have the mail list up and running, I'd like to start out by
offering to send the following file transcriptions to anyone who
doesn't have them already. I'd like to mention that without the
generosity of Nancy, Elaine & Beverly, I wouldn't have had most of
this material to transcribe.
