Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as that of Ella L. BATES born 22
Oct 1883, the second child of Julius M. & Jennie S. BATES of East
Titusville, PA. The photograph is dated 10 Mar 1887. Based on limited
research I was able to locate the following information regarding Ella and
her family:
Ella Louise BATES was b. 22 Oct 1884 in Titusville, PA and married Budd A.
CLARK (1865-1946) and together they had 2 children. Ella died in Sayre, PA
in 1951. Julius M. BATES was b. in 1839 in Oil Creek, PA to parents Salmond
S. BATES (1802-1880) and Rebecca B. ? (b. 1807). Julius was one of 4
children born to this couple including, Julia Elvira or Roda; Julius M.;
Homer G.; and Henry C. BATES, all born between 1833 and 1843. Julius
married Eliza J. ? (b. 1849) and together they had a son Henry BATES b.

Eliza J. BATES, wife, age 31, Keeping House, born PA, parents born MA/NY

And living directly next door - Homer and Julina BATES and daughter Mary
