I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Aunt Annie CLARK which was
taken at the Wm. Snell Studio in Chester, Pennsylvania. The photograph is
dated 11 Feb 1871 with Annie appearing to be in her 40's or 50's at the time
it was taken.
Based on limited research I was able to find a possible match in the 1880
census of Darby, PA as follows:
Peter CLARK, age 39, born MD, a Railroad Supervisor, parents born Ireland
Ellen CLARK, wife, age 38, born Ireland, Keeping House, parents born Ireland
Annie CLARK, dau, age 13, born MD, at School
Steven CLARK, son, age 10, born MD, at School
Celia CLARK, dau, age 9, born PA, at School
Joseph CLARK, son, age 7, born PA, at School
Eddie CLARK, son, age 6, born PA, at School
Willie CLARK, son, age 4, born PA
Ann CLARK, Mother, age 63, born Ireland, Assisting in House, parents born
Ireland
I'm hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this CLARK
Family, or if you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
