Hello,
I am researching the line of Thomas Clark b. June 14, 1805 and d. January 12, 1871. He was from Westmoreland Co., PA. His wife was Jane possibly Moore. They married about 1828 and are buried in the Pleasant Grove UP Church Cemetery, Cook Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. Their children were James, Sarah, Israel (my line), Obadiah, Isabel, and Amos. Thomas was a blacksmith as was his son Israel. I have no idea about the Israel's siblings.
Israel married Mary E. (possibly Piper) and they had two sons, Israel Thomas b. March 9, 1866 and d. March 1952 and Ira b. abt. 1875. Israel married Louella Koontz and Ira married Ida Koontz. Israel and Louella are buried in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Laughlingtown and had lived in Ligonier. Both in Westmoreland Co., PA.
There were also cousins, I believe Ellsworth and Tommy. I'm not sure if these are the same cousins who had a blacksmith shop somewhere near the fort. I am seeking any info on this Clark line and have info to share. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
