Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

in this area, perhaps Kilann. Don't know anything about Kilann, but one
brother noted they came from there.
Three sons known there, and in NY, NY as shoemakers; their original shoe
shop was still standing three years ago in County Cavan. Eldest and first to
emigrate, (Andrew) was a tailor in NY, NY before becoming a shoemaker.
Developed a chain of three shoe stores in Manhattan NYC, with his two brothers.
3 sons & 3 daughters [one daughter unfound, yet] immigrated to and stayed
in NY, NY. All "Irish Famine/Holocaust" immigrants arrived 1849-1856 &
stayed in NY,NY.
By 1859 the mother of these six Irish immigrant siblings was deceased in
Ireland, name: Margaret aka Peggy FARLEY.
