I have been trying to trace the descendants of Francis W. Clark and his
wife Lucy Palmer. They moved to East Marion on the North Fork of Long
Island from Stonington, Connecticut in about 1790. Francis can be found
in Morrison's book on "The Clarke Families of Rhode Island" on p. 45 as
child no. 9 (spelled Frances) of #34, Benjamin Clark. I have compiled
the information I have in a report called: Genealogy Report: Descendants
of Francis W. Clark(e) which can be found at the website:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/c/l/a/Christopher-Clark-Baton-...
(be sure that the URL ends with -Rouge/ in case it wraps around in this
message)
I will welcome any comments, additions, etc.
Chris Clark

Good Evening Everyone,
My apologies for just sort of disappearing. Have had some family concerns
that kept me from getting much done. While I won't bore you with all of the
specifics I will give you a hint concerning just one of them. If your
daughter walks in the door with a small puppy that she found on the freeway
who is covered with sores be very, very concerned. You have no idea how much
impact that little tiny puppy and what it is carrying is going to have on
your life. If anyone wants the full story then e-mail me privately. I will
be HAPPY TO EXPOUND on the topic.
However...... I received the following message on another mail list. I
requested permission to cross post it to all the lists I admin. First of
all, this is a very nice site in its own right. But I think you will find
the article very interesting as well.
Hope you enjoy it.
Take care - Emma

Hello Everyone:
We receive hundreds of messages each month for information on
early American Emigrants and a few years ago we found a very
good article on the subject and thought we would share it with you.
Titled.......Founders of Early American Families...Emigrants From Europe
1607-1657.
This is something all genealogists and researchers should read to have
a better understanding of what was happening here prior to 1657.
We have posted the article on our web site at:
http://www.linkline.com/personal/xymox/
Once you get there you will be looking for the link Family Pages Index which
you will enter.
On the Family Pages Index enter FOUNDERS OF EARLY AMERICAN FAMILIES.
Everyone has FREE access to all our web site and the reports contained there.
Enjoy

Wondering if anyone has information about Abigail Clark born 5 August 1781 in New York, but place unknown. Abigail married Eleazer Hudson & they are in the 1800 Blooming Grove, Orange Co. NY census. Speculation of Abigail's maiden name is based on name of their son Vinson Clark Hudson born 27 Feb 1807, possibly in Orange Co. or Allegany Co.

Evening Everyone,
This is a really nice site that you might like to try. It takes about 10
minutes or so but is very interesting. It is an animated atlas of the growth
of the US. Make sure you turn on your speakers to hear the commentary as
well.
Hope you enjoy it.
Take care - Emma
