Dear Jim,
You might already have this information but the 1900 Census has the
following information:
Abington, Ma. Randolph Street
#272 Clark, James Les B. Mar. 1857 Mass. Both parents born Ireland
Mary A. July 1857 Mass. Both parents born Ireland
James T. Dec. 1883 Mass. Both parents born Massachusetts
Lena M. May 1888 Mass. Both parents born Massachusetts
Ernest, Anthony (Boarder)8/1879 Ireland Both parents born Ireland
#274 Clark, Thomas 1837 Ireland Both parents born Ireland
Mary A. May, 1835 Ireland Both parents born
Scotland
Thomas, Jr. Mar. 1862 Mass. Both parents born Ireland
Henry A. May, 1865 Mass. Both parents born Ireland
William F. Mar. 1872 Mass. Both parents born Ireland
I believe that Thomas & Mary Clark are the parents of James Les Clark.
James worked in the shoe factory as a finisher and Thomas was a farmer.
I am a Clark descendant but this is not my family. I lived for many years
in Randolph which was not to far from Abington, MA.
I hope this information is useful and if I can be of any further
assistance, please don't hesitate to drop an email. I know how frustrating
it can be to research "Clarks".
Sincerely,
Joanne Clark Borden
