Shelly, there are some Clark families that live around Palmer, Nebraska that is connected with my Clark family. There were so many Jesse Clark from Va in that era. I have a Grandfather with the name of Jesse Clark, i think 6-7 generations back, but his family stayed in the Va and Tenn area.

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Will CLARK which was taken at the
Bostock Studio in Palisade, Nebraska. The photograph appears to have been
taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Will appearing to be in his 20's or
30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to
gather the following information regarding the family in census records as
follows:
1870 census of Washington Township, IA:
Jesse CLARK, age 26, a Farmer, born VA
Mary CLARK, age 29, Keeps House, born TN
Charles LLOYD, age 9, born IA
John CLARK, age 3, born IA
William CLARK, age 8 months, born IA
1880 census of Trenton, MO:
Jessie CLARK, age 35, a Farmer, born VA, parents born VA

Anna ROBY, sister-in-law, age 13, born IA, parents born OH
Laura ROBY, sister-in-law, age 11, born IA, parents born OH
1900 census of Union, NE:
Jesse CLARK, age 55, born Jul 1844, married 24 years, born VA, parents born
VA, a Farmer
Alice CLARK, wife, age 45, born Jul 1854, married 24 years, 3 children/1
living, born IA, parents born OH
George W. CLARK, son, age 20, born Sept 1880, born IA, a Farm Laborer
1910 census of Stratton, NE:
Jessie CLARK, age 65, 2nd marriage 34 years, born VA, parents born VA
Alice CLARK, wife, age 55, 1st marriage 34 years, 3 children/1 living, born

I am hoping to locate someone from this CLARK Family so that the photograph
can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
