Hi lists,
I am sending this to three different lists because my Clarks kept moving
west. I am hoping some of the family names and migration patterns might
coincide with someone elses line.

William T Clark born about 1816 in Richmond, VA, married Sarah L. Later moved to NC. They had at least one son, William Edward Clark b. 1/25/1866 who married Charlotte May Lewis b. 5/20/1875 in Cumberland County, NC on August 24, 1893. They are my ggrandfather and ggrandmother. Children Lewis, Harry, William, Raymond (my grandfather), Esther, Bynum Ross, and Julian. I'd like to talk with anyone with any information.
Thanks

Hi,
My Clarks came from VA into Lincoln Co., NC. My ancestor George Clark died
there and his son George Marion Clark came to Haywood Co., NC, who was in
Buncombe Co., NC, in the Sandy Mush area.
I would also appreciate any help with the Clarks that were in Lincoln Co.,
NC. The above George's daughter, Nancy Agnes Clark (my ancestor) was born in
Granville Co., NC. Need help here too.
I'm trying to research ALL Clarks in Haywood and Buncombe Cos., NC. On the
Clark-Clarke mailing list we're having problems sorting out who belongs to
whom right now. If any of you can belong to this list and can contribute
anything, please chime in.
Thank you,
Shirley McCoy

The following are all the CLARK's in the Census of old Buncombe Co. in 1800
to 1830 Haywood Co. NC. I have also added the 1800 Burke Co. Census as 2
Benjamin Clark's appear there. I strived to make this correct for each
census, it was harder then I thought it would be, so please if you discover
any errors in my transcription let me know so I can correct them. (mainly in
the birth dates for each census) I am in hopes that anyone who is descended
from these families will post the rest of the family information to this so
we may all sort out these elusive CLARK families and go back from here.

Hi All,
I've just read this data and am researching NC Clarks also. I looked through
my files and found data on this Benjamin done by a professional genealogist.
As you will see there are two Benjamins in the same family so it doesn't look
right to me but you decide.
Rev. Benjamin Wilson Clark and first wife, Elizabeth Lee had a son Benjamin,
b. 1755, d. 1844 Haywood Co., NC. THEN Rev. Benjamin Wilson Clark and second
wife had a son, Benjamin Wilson Clark, Jr. b. 1773.
Anyway, the children listed for the Benjamin b. 1755, wife unknown (not Mary
Trussell) were:
1. STEWART b. c1778 NC
2. WILLIAM b. c1785 NC
3. DEBORAH b. c1786 NC
4. ZACHARIAH b. c1787 NC
5. JOHN b. c1788 NC
6. BENJAMIN F. b. c1792 NC
7. RICHARD b. c1795 NC
This would make this Benjamin (b. 1755) a brother of my George Clark who d.
Lincoln Co., NC.
I wonder what these children's full names are as I've never seen a "Stewart"
Clark in these lines.
