Joanne The bad thing about the census back in in 1810
It only shows head of family and there is a William Clark Jr and right
under him is a James Clarke and the town is Eastport and Lincoln and York
but I will look further for you.
Hi everyone,
Since this is a roll call I would like to post my brick wall, my great
grandfather William W. Clark, born February 20, 1784 in Trenton, Maine
(according to the Family Bible). I really don't find any records of him
until 1806 when he came to St. George, Maine and married Hannah Cook on May
23, 1806. They had 14 children and William Clark died in St. George on
October 12, 1838.
I have been searching for his parents for many years and have not been able
to find anything. Most all of the men in the family were sea captains,
including William Clark.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a very
happy holiday season.
