Great way to start this list again Janet. Sorry, not my Clarks!

As a new member of this mailing list, I think one way to introduce
myself is to direct anyone interested to my new website. CLARK has been
my most difficult line to research; just SO many Clarks around. Since
that is my maiden name, I am determined to learn more and would be SO
thrilled to make a connection through this list. I hope many of you will
take a look at http://www.smallfamilyhistory.com/index.htm
As I say on the site, I am eager for additions and corrections. And
maybe we even have a connection through one of my other names. My
Clarks include LEACH and JONES. William H Clark, who according to
family tradition was born 16 October 1844 at Alto, Howard County,
Indiana. But it is his parents and siblings that have eluded me so
long. His widow, Susan Leach Clark and their four young children left
IN and went to Rice County Kansas about 1878. She worshiped as a Quaker
in KS, but have not found her family in IN Quaker records...neither her
Leachs nor William's Clarks.
Thanks,
Janet Clark Small
