Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I sent out a list update and I do apologize for
that. A surgery and illness has set me behind a bit.
Anyway, I thought it time I sent an update.
At the present time there are 54 subscribers to the Clark-IL mail list. I
would encourage all of you to share and ask questions. Someone on the list
might be able to help.
Also...... as you run across others working on the Clark name in Illinois
please invite them to join the list. The more subscribers we have the more we
can help each other.
I also thought you might be interested in these two sites.

In the past we have only been able to search each individual mail list. But
this URL will get you to a search page for all rootsweb mail lists.
To begin your search look under the heading "Archives Search Engine".
It is also helpful if you read their search tips.
Then just for the fun of it try this URL:
_www.google.com/patents_ (http://www.google.com/patents)
You can put in a surname or location and find patents associated with that
surname or location.
Quite interesting....<g>.
Take care and have a great week.
