I'm desended from the Colby Clark/Geneva Cyr line, so
I don't have much on the Morse or other family lines,
but would like to trade info, especially on the Clark
line. Email me at kathn47(a)yahoo.com.
Thanks!
Kath

I'm related to Canadian Clarks and Maine Morses; I'd like to exchange
information. Don Beattie in Winthrop, ME. A Glenna (Clark) Caldwell was buried
yesterday in Bristol, Carleton, NB, Canada; she was my first cousin; I went to
the funeral. Made a lot of 'old' and new connections with Clarks, Beattie,
McIntoshes, Coxes, Caldwells, etc.
Hi, hoping someone can help me break down a brick
wall.
Looking for information on ENOCH W. CLARK, married to
a JANE GRANT, in the lower New Brunswick/Northern
Maine area, mid/late 1800s.
They are listed as being found in "Beaconsville, New
Brunswick" in the 1897 marriage certificate of
daughter Edith.
Known children are COLBY C. CLARK, born abt 1880
(married Geneva Cyr) and EDITH L. CLARK, (married Amos
Morse). Other children's names may be Minnie, and Ida.
Colby and Edith can be found as adults in Aroostook,
ME census.
Can anyone help me find the mysterious Enoch??
Much Thanks,
Kathy

You are most welcome. I tried to find them in the 1911 census but did
not .On the other hand they may have already moved by then.

I checked Family History Search site and you need a membership. After I found this I tried Family Search and found the Canada 1881 census record there. Thank you for your help.
Zoe
Hi Zoe,
My Clark family came out of Ameliasburgh Township in Prince Edward County,
Ontario. My ancestor, Elias Clark, was born in 1812, and married Rebecca
Johnson, who was born in 1816. Their children included: Peter b. abt.
1834, Derius b. abt. 1837, Elizabeth b. abt 1840, Mary Melissa b. 1843,
Joseph b. abt. 1846, and Elias b. 1850. My great-great grandmother, Mary
Melissa Clark, married a Barringer and moved to St. Clair, Michigan in 1865.
They subsequently moved to Muskegon and she moved back to Marine City after
her husband's death.
If I run across anything about Edward in my research, I will let you know.
I have a lot of Clark and Johnson information that I have collected over the
years.
Sincerely,
Keith Meyers
Lawrence, Kansas
