I'm searching for the forebears of Deborah Claridge b.1792 (UK) - d.1875 (SA) married Samuel Cyrus.
They were original 1820 Settlers to the Eastern Cape region of South Africa, who arrived as part of Sephtons' party on
the "Aurora". Their son George was only 9 years old in 1820, so would only have been 14 years old when his younger sister Dorcas was born. Dorcas was baptised on 30.10.1825 in the early Methodist Church, Grahamstown (Albany Museum - our ref. Entry no. 18 in MS 15 899/1).
Any assistance greatly appreciated
