I was just now doing a search for the last name of Clariday and I am really trying to find out information about my dad's family. His family is from Smith County and my grandfather's name was James A Clariday and he married Sue Phillips. Sue (my grandmother) is still alive. I think he had 10-12 other brothers and sisters and I'm pretty sure he was the first to die.
I think another variation of the name might be Clardy. I don't know much though as I never had a relationship with my father or that family for the most part.
