Dear Faith thanks for you e-mail I dont think I can help you much as I dont
think I have any Irish Clare's in my lot, and as you probally know that a
lot of Irish records were destroyed in the troubles in 1918 or was it 1919.
The best chance is to see if you find their entry into the USA. I did
quickly look at the Ellis island site but that did'nt help, but there are
other lists floating about the internet try Cyndis list as a starting point
(www.cyndislist.com) I don't think that John & Bridget could have spent much
if any time in England as there 1st (?) child was born when he was 26
assuming he married before he & bridget sailed to America we probally come
back to the lack of Irish records again.
Sorry can't be more help but always ready to chat if you need to bounce
ideas.
cheers
Peter
hi! I have been having a little trouble finding more info on my Clare line. I was wondering if anyone of you find any of this familiar. If we are researching the same people, it would be great to compare notes!! Thanks! -Faith
