Mary Bundy was born in Perquimans, co. North Carolina, but her Parents were both born in England. Her father William was born abt 1630 in England and her Mother Elizabeth ? was born abt 1640 in England also. I think William later a Mary Pierce but that is not proven yet. William's parents are William also born about 1640 at Roxton Englin and married to Elinor ? They were Quakers inPerquimans, co. N.C.

I recently found a record of a Timothy Clare being transported as an
apprentice from England to Nevis for a six year apprenticeship. Nevis is an
island at the north eastern end of the Carribean where the English had a
large colony. Many people stopped there for a period before moving on to
America.
I cannot put my hands on the record at this moment, but I do remember that I
checked the timing and the Nevis apprenticeship could have easily been
completed prior to the time that our Timothy Clare appears in America.
Has anyone else come across this record - if so, do you have any thoughts
about this being the Quaker Timothy Clare of North Carolina?

Timothy Clare Married Mary Bundy 6 April 1685 but do no know where but
assume it might have been Perquimans Co. North Carolina. Timothy's
father I have found out was William Clare and married a women by the
name of Hare. Timothy was from Bristol? I do not know whether that
means Bristol, England or what. Thank you.
