M. D. Rat,
Perhaps the following will help: Fanny Mahala, a.k.a. Mahala F., dau. of
James & Frances Richardson Clardy, was married to J. B. Boothe on 28 Oct
1838. I believe the Fannie you seek is from another family. Fanny M. was
b. 1821 and yours is marrying in 1824.

(The Following Newspaper Death Notice is one of Two Pasted over the Last
Verses of the Old Testament, just preceding the Family Record Section)
Frances M. Boothe, daughter of James and Frances Clardy, was born March
13th, 1821, and was married to J. B. Boothe, on the 28th of October 1838,
and died March 30th, 1854. She remembered her Creator in the days of her
youth, and gave her young and tender heart to God when about 12 years old,
and joined the M. E. Church, in which she lived an acceptable member until
God invited her to come higher. During her affliction it was my privilege
to visit her, and converse with her upon the subject of religion. She gave
me, and all others who conversed with her upon that subject, satisfactory
evidence of her acceptance with God. In the triumphs of faith she died, and
passed away to the home of the just, leaving an affectionate husband,
several children, and many relations to mourn her absence.

Hello, I am looking for anyone who might have information concerning Sarah Elizabeth Clardy she was born Aug 24 1874 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. She died July 5 1957 in Lincoln County, And was buried in New Grove Cemetery in Blanche, Tennessee. Sarah was the daughter of Daniel Clardy and Mary Jane Mullins. Sarah was my gr-grandfather's sister. Sarah married Joseph Asbury Holt and they had nine children. I was hoping to find someone who might have her family bible and have them check and see if Sarah recorded the date her brother John Lawson Clardy died and where he might be buried. Here's hoping someone can help I have look for years trying to find my gr-grandfathers death records. He had to have died been 1900 and 1908. I know it was not after 1908 because I cannot find any records and Tennessee did not keep death records until 1908. Thanks
