The only Catherine Clapsaddle born in 1805 that I have in my listing is
Catharina born 20 May 1805, German Flats. She is the daughter of
Johannes Wilhelm and Nancy Dockstader Clapsaddle. I do not have any
husband or descendents listed. Could this be your Cathy?

Todd,
I was wondering where you got your date of birth for Catherine? I would
think the date I have, would have been the date one of her children gave when she
passed away. I have thought for a long time that Johannes and Nancy were her
possible parents. Is your information posted on line?
Hope to hear from you,
Cheryl
Trying to find who my Cathrine Clapsaddle family was. She was born 21 Jul
1805, possibly in Herkimer, New York, she married Thomas Barton, lived in
Phelps, New York, and died in St Joseph County, Michigan.
Is anyone else searching this line?
Cheryl
Hi,
My name is Dana Clapsaddle Hierseman. I am John's
sister. I have a collection of 4 Clapsaddle postcards
that are of the same type as the ones you describe. My
are all green and white. They were made in Germany.
They are all signed. My dad bought me the series when
we were at a post card show in Wichita, Kansas about
10 years ago. They sold for $40 a piece back then.
I haven't ever seen them any other place. Your
calendar must be lovely.
Cheers!
Dana
