I have a William Clarence Clapper born April, 1869 in Ohio. On the 1900 Census,
he is married and it looks like his wife's name is Hinda Inez. (Or it could be
Hilda). She was born in Alabama, September, 1870. They have a son, Willis
Allen Clapper born in Ohio on May 28, 1896.
If anyone is related to this family, I'd like to hear from you. My connection
is through Hinda if that is her real name. I'd really like to clarify her name.
Thanks. Zoe

Is this from your own research or from the Clapper Genealogy?
If it is from the Clapper Genealogy there is a common error in this Ahnentafel
Generation #4,9,children ii and iii contain errors.
{ii} Johannes (Wil) Weatherwax b:early 1740.
There is no baptismal record in the cited reference for his baptism or birth. I have all transcriptions of these records in my own library, and have searched for over 25 years for such a record. He did marry Anna or Joanna Premmer.
He did die 11 Mar 1818 in Schaghticoke, I have his WILL and have published a transcription on the USGENWEBsite for Rensselaer co N.Y..
{iii}Martinus (Johann Martin) never used by him alwways known as Martin Weatherwax. His baptismal record is recorded in the records of St. Pauls Lutheran church on 13 Jan 1741. No exact date of birth is indicated, but that is the date of baptism. He married twice 1st wife Elizabeth, 2nd wife Hannah. They were in fact sisters.
Both Johannes and Martin served in the revolution, both at the same time. Both appear on a photocopy of 14th Albany militia rosters and I have a photocopy of a document requesting that they and their brother David allow the bearer to pick up Militia payments due them. Clearly indicating they were separate individuals.
Johann had a separate Will and brother Martin had intestate documents .
Both brothers are in their fathers Will along with my ancestor David Weatherwax. All clearly inherited lands as separate individuals. Martin actually inherited his fathers farm where he was living when the Will was written.
Martin Weatherwax never married Hannah Premmer there is no such marriage record other than a poorly researched (AFN) record on the LDS website to indicate such a marriage. I have documented both of his marriages and will publish this documentation in the family genealogy I am currently editing.
David and Martin spent their entire lives together side by side. Both moved from adjacent farms on Thomahannock creek to adjacent farms in Clinton co NY in the town of Peru. Both died living next door to each other.
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Wayne E. Weatherwax
following David 1747
