There are numerous errors in the Ahnentafel you posted. Wrong date, places of birth, death etc. But What I dont understand is what this had to do with my posting for information on Andrew A. Weatherwax 1769-1824 who married Sarah Clapper on 29 Mar 1788 in Dutchess co. NY. They later moved to Sand Lake in Rensselaer co NY where most of their childrens baptisms are recorded in the records of Trinity Lutheran church.
I am currently editing the Weatherwax genealogy for publication. I descend from David Weatherwax b:1747. If I can answer any questions for you plase feel free to contact me either directly or via the Weatherwax surname board on ancestry.com where I serve as the board admin.
No one was born in East Camp before 1710, it did not exist until Gov. Hunter had the camps prepared in 1710.
Date of death for Johan Andreas wife? I know of no source for this if you have one I would really appreciate the ref. Her Husband's WILL was probated in 1784, we do not know when he died (no record). You have mixed some generations on page 3 as children of Henrich who were actually children of his son Johan Andreas (Andrew 1700-1783)
It is easy to get confused with our family because the 19 children of Johan Andreas by his two wives consistently named all their children after their 19 siblings for over 3 generations, and most siblings had from 6 to 12 children, some of them by a 2nd wife as well.

Hello,
I am relatively new to this group, so I am not exactly sure how you work.
I am trying to locate information on the parents of my Great Grandfather,
Harry W. Clapper, who according to the oral family tradition has the dates
1844- November 1881. I think that I have located the location of his death
in 1881 and will be visiting Champaign Co., OH soon to see if a death
certificate is on file there. According to the 1870 and 1880 census, he was
born in Ohio.
I am unable to locate a Harry Clapper in the 1850 and 1860 Census, but I
have found a Harrison Clapper, born 1840, in the 1850 and 1860 census.
I believe that he may have taken Harry as his "formal" name after the Civil
War. In the 1850 cnsus, Harrison is a member of the John and Catherine
Clapper family in Big Spring, Seneca Co. Ohio and is listed as a member of
the John and Katherine Clapper family in Iowa in the 1860 census. (
Harrison W. Clapper enlisted in Unit 21 Iowa Infantry for the Civil War, but
was rejected due to health reasons less than a month later.)
I am writing to inquire if anyone is working on a family which includes a
John (abt 1800-after 1885) and Catherine Clapper (abt 1802- after 1885):
The 1850 census:
John Clapper 50 born abt 1800 in PA
Catherine 48, born in PA
William 23 born in OH
Elizabeth 18 born in OH
Melinda(?) 10 born in OH
Harrison 10 born in OH
Samantha 10 born in OH
Emma 3 born in OH
The 1860 census :
John 60 born in Pennsylvania
Katharine 58 born in Pennsylvania
Harrison 19 born in Ohio
Emma 13 born in Ohio
Does anyone recognize this family?
Thanks.
Susan Logan
