thanks for Mr. Balsley's address. I had corresponded with him several years ago, misplaced his address. He knew of the Barbara Baltzley/Daniel Bowser reference in Jacob's will but was not able to confirm that it was my family's Daniel Bowser. Shirley

My great aunt Mary Catherine Eva Lafreniere was marreid to Edward I. Clapper. Would like to know if anyone has these people in their family history. The only information I have is they were married in 1917 in Lynn.

Thanks for your interest but the name was Baty, later Beatty. However, I am interested in the Baltzley line in York Co, PA. Barbara, dau of Jacob, ca 1760 md a Daniel Bowser - trying to find out if this is my Daniel. Would you know anything about this couple? If this is the right pair, think she must have died in York Co ca 1795 and he moved west with the children, ending up in OH. Will appreciate any info you have. Shirley Mikesell

Our BALTZLEY/BALTZ lines came to Iowa back in the early 1800's Jacob married Mary Ann HOBBS, they passed ca. 1916 buried in Iowa. Our BALTZLEY lines have a CLAPPER marriage in PA. and then they moved in to OHIO area, our Jacob BALTZLEY line came to Iowa and several children born in Iowa. One of our BALTZLEY member went to OK. ca. 1910 dies and buried in OK. with Dr. CLAPPER family near by. I can't figure out why our BALTZLEY line went to OK. they are the only family member missing out of our Iowa cemetery all the rest of family is buried in Iowa, except maybe they were sick and Dr. CLAPPER was a related cousin lines maybe.. I'm still trying to put it all together its taken me a while just to find where this missing BALTZLEY was, as all the rest of our family is buried back in Iowa even the spouse of this BALTZLEY came back to Iowa and lived several yrs. before dying 1956 I think it was and they are born in Iowa 1863 a TUCKER line. I have lots of Iowa lines/links, since!
they were early 1800's pioneers.. quite a few still there in Iowa.. Well let me know if you want to expand on this.. If anyone can offer help with my mystery in OK. CLAPPER lines or can tell me who this CLAPPER line might be maybe we can put some light on how they might relate back to our BALTZLEY CLAPPER marriage PA OHIO lines. Think your James BATY might be a BALTZLEY spelling. We have CLAPPER that married a BALTZLEY, OHIO PA root lines. Then in OKLAHOMA ca. 1910 one W.H. BALTZLEY dies and a Dr. CLAPPER and others family, also buried in this OK cemetery. I'm Guessing with these next statements: W.H. BALTZLEY was sick, went to OK. for treatment from Dr. CLAPPER. Our W.H BALTZLEY was missing in Iowa family cemtery with the rest of our family, So I was guess this was how W.H. BALTZLEY is buried in OK. 1910 ca. with Dr. CLAPPER family near by.... Just guessing I dont have any proof about it I'm still trying to find proof.. Let me know if your wanting to expand on any of this.. Who knows maybe there's a link and then maybe not.. Thanking in advance Good Luck to all that read this.. kindness is returned ten fold.. Cordially, P. WOODWARD
