I haven't posted this for a while, but I am looking for information on the family of Jacob & Mary (Germaine) Clapper, who came to the Dell Prairie area, Adams County, Wisconsin, about 1850. I last find them on the 1880 census in Dell Prairie Township. Jacob was born about 1825, Mary in 1830, both in NY. They had the following children: James, Francis (Frank), Helen, Edwin, Henry, John, George, and Elizabeth.
Any information will be appreciated.

I am trying to find Charlotte THRUSH CLAPPER HOOVER [my great great aunt].
She married Henry CLAPPER in 1855. She had a son, Neal, and a daughter by
CLAPPER. However, she moved to Iowa as Charlotte [Peggy] HOOVER. I don't
know if she had any
children by Hoover. She would have been from the Wood County, Ohio area.
Henry CLAPPER also married my great grandmother, Rebecca McMANUS HIMES, in
1871.
Neal CLAPPER married Rebecca COPUS and they had at least one child.
I am looking for more information on any of these ancestors from the Wood
County or Hancock County, Ohio area.
