Hi,
I am looking for information on the Catherine CLAPPER, daughter of Jacob and Eva (Keister) Clapper. Catherine married a George SHUCKMAN on 1 Feb 1838 in Wayne County, OH. They are later found living in Allen County, Indiana in 1860. I would be very interested in descendant information on this particular line of the family. I have ancestral information on the SHUCKMAN line to share.

Looking for information on grandfather. My father is Marion Eugene Clapper, b. Jul 19, 1938. His parents were Wilbur (Web) Clapper and Ruby Garrett. Ruby was previously married to a man named Pelster. I am trying to trace my family roots, but it's difficult when I can't get past my grandfather Web. I know I have some connection to the Clappers in Iowa, but I don't know how. The family I am sure of is Robert Pelster (my half-uncle) who lived and died in Great Bend Kansas, and Kay Clapper (aunt) who lived in Junction City Kansas. Any help sorting out my grandfather's live would be greatly appreciated. You can e-mail me at either address:

I am also from the Clapper family line. I know I am somehow related to the Iowa Clappers but I'm not sure how, and very few will talk about it. My father's name is Marion Eugene Clapper, born 19 Jul 1938, in Great Bend Kansas. His parents were Wilbur (Web) Clapper and Ruby Garrett Clapper. Ruby was previously married to a man named Pelster. No one has been able to tell me what happened to Web after he and Ruby divorced. Does any of this ring a bell? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
