I am searching for information on a Clapp family from Edgar County, Illiois (specifically Borton, Illinois) buried at Embarrass Creek Cemetery; possibly related to my great-great grandfather Snowdon and his brother Seaberry Clark, also of that township, from the latter part of the 19th century.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This would make an excellent article for the Alamance Genealogical Society journal. Would you be interested in submitting it to our editor? Also, where did you find the info on a wagon train, the Clapp, Shoffner, and Anthony's are my ancestors.
Mary
