Hi,
I am looking for information re: Ludwic Clapp (born 1785 in NC per census records, per family records he was called Lewis) and Elizabeth Clapp (Born 1794-1890 in NC per census and family history) Her son was John Clapp who had a son John Colonel.
I have been looking through the websites that have some Clapp family history and find lots of Ludwig Lewis names but none that quite match mine.
I was wondering if you could look in your book and see if any match up.
Thank you

Hi Everyone,
On a rootsweb list today, I saw something that I thought was a really neat
idea.
How about sharing what you remember about your families Christmas
traditions.
In the spirit of genealogy, make sure you say something like, "this
tradition comes from my great grandmother who just happened to be 100%
Danish."
It *might* give us a little more understanding about where we came from: the
culture of our family, what ethnicity our traditions are from
If we share with each other, it can also give some of us more ideas for new
traditions that we can use in future holiday seasons!
How about that?
Thanks, List Mom, Peggy

I know you posted this a long time ago, but are you still looking for information on a Winifred Clapp, born 1891 in Michigan?
