Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

August 11, 2006 Dedication of a Clapp Family Library at 7:15
Come to 3452 Harris Road, Burlington, NC to celebrate the gathering of
Clapp family research of Lee Albright, former genealogist at the State
Library of NC, and of Grace A. Thompson, archiver and researcher for
more than25 years. The speaker will be Pam Toms, current genealogist at
the State Library of NC who worked with both Albright and Thompson
through the years.
August 12, 2006.. Genealogy Exchange from 9:30am-Noon+
Join the genealogy exchange and shake your family tree. A light snack
and beverages will be available.
Afternoon Tours at 2:00 PM
Clapp's Mill on Lake Mackintosh, the Alamance Battleground, the site of
Pyle's Defeat, and Lindley Mill will be available for those who are
interested.
Saturday Dinner at 6:00 PM

Following the meal, members of the group are asked to participate in a
Clapp Family "Show and Tell". Yes! You are the program. Bring one or
two items, i.e., a photo, recipe, story, hand made item or other relic
precious to your family to share with the group. Hear stories about
barrel making, Clapp Farm Road farms, the Clapp Bible and more..
