Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I appreciate the concerns of everyone in the current situation we find our
country in, but I am going to ask that you please do not forward any
chain-letters and pass-along emails to the list.
Thank you,
Karen Bush

Hello Clapp Listers,
On 22 Nov. 1880 my great grand-mother Francis (Kingsley) Andrews
wrote in her diary, "... Uncle John Clapp died today." If this gentleman
was her true uncle he would have been the son of John Clapp b abt 1757
and Lucy Clark b abt 1771. John Sr. and Lucy lived in Northampton MA.
Do any of you have John Jr. in your data base? I am looking for his
birthdate marriage, if any, and his residence. I hope someone can help.
