Hello:
I am looking for a family member or anyone who can give me some information about PERCY CLAPP who was a gun engraver for The Ithaca Gun Company in 1915 and maybe before that date and after that time but I know for a fact that He was an engraver at that time at Ithaca, New York. I am writting an article for The Double Gun Journal and need this information for the article. This man deserves the credit that is due him for his engraving skills. Please contact me if you have any information, Thank You Very Much JAMES TYSON

There is a biography of Selah S. Clapp in Portage Co.
Ohio from the "History of Portage County, Ohio" published by Warner, Beers & Co., Chicago, 1885.
I hope this helps.
