Hi - I haven't seen any messages posted to the list, and I need to be sure
that everything is working correctly. Can some of the subscribers, please
send a reply or reply all to this message to see if all is working?
Thanks,

I would like to hear from others who are descended from the Clapp family of
Salcombe, Devonshire, England: William Clapp and his wife, Johanna Channon
who had daughter Jane Clapp [1597/1604 - 1668]; she md. (1) George Weeks
1615/1618 in England; and (2) Jonas Humfrey/Humphry as his 3rd wife. [BTW -
I am also descended from Jonas and wife Frances Coley]

Hello,
I have just received Listkeeping responsibilities for the CLAPP mailing
list. If you have any problems or questions just send me a private message
and I'll do the best I can to help.
My name is Karen Bush and I live in Page, Arizona (on the northern AZ/UT
border by the shores of Lake Powell). I have been working on my family
history since I was a nine-year old, filling out family group charts by my
mother's side. I'm the mother of 3 teenagers, one married couple, a dog,
and a tank full of guppies. I'm a retired piano teacher. I still dabble in
folk art and a bit of quilting now and then.
My CLAPP heritage is as follows:
My great grandmother is Ella Ola CLAPP, daughter of
Henry Fidelio CLAPP & Lucy Ola SEARL , son of
Agile CLAPP & Julia Ann FRANCSICO, son of
George CLAPP (b.1769) & Sally? , son of
Ichabod CLAPP and Elizabeth SEARS, son of
Benjamin CLAPP (b. 1708), son of
John CLAPP (b. 1676), son of
Increase CLAPP (b. 1640) & Elizbeth BURSLEY, son of
Thomas CLAPP & Abigail.
Feel free to introduce yourselves post you lineage. Currently there are
about 13 list members. Be wonderful if some of us turn out to be closely
related.
Sincerely,
Karen Bush
