Hello,
It's been a long time since I posted to this list. My husband's family is
Elizabeth Clapham, who died 3 Jan 1825 in Irchester, Northamptonshire. She
was the wife of John Letts, married 25 Dec 1792 in Irchester.
They had children: Thomas, John, Daniel, Sarah, Elizabeth, George, Samuel all
in Irchester from 1793 to 1807. I can send more details of who they married.
I would be interested in corresponding with anyone who is researching
Claphams in this part of England. I did have contact with Alan Clapham, of
Wellingborough, but have lost his email address. His Claphams were from
Wymminton, Befordshire, which is not far from Irchester.
Thanks,
Pat Lowe

Hi Bill,
We have corresponded in the past. I am just about to get going again on
the Claphams who emmigrated to Canada (and in your case immigrated further).
How did you fare with your queries about the Hamilton area Claphams and
their (your) relatives? I am hoping not to "re-invent the wheel" so
would be interested on whatever you happened to find out.
Cheers, 'Marsh' Price
