All I know is that he was B. about 1810 married Nancy Bullard on 12-10-1829 and died 3-1-1838 don't know about your John b. 1845 cause my gggggrampa, Johns boy J.A, was born n 1832. And I know that my grampa John was born in McMinn Co. TN. and he died there by my family anyways. On ancestry others trees have him dying in Alabama and says my grampa J.A Born in Alabama.my history says he was born in McMinn Co. also so I'm kind of confused. But my family thinks the reason we can't find anything on him is because of his cherokee blood. And c my ggggg grama Nancy Bullard, John's wife, was also cherokee and I think she was closer to full blood, Not sure really want to find out though I'm only thirty and just started pickin up were my mom left off if you have any more info like where your roots come from I'd like to hear it

I don't have ifo on Issac Clanton but have come across his name lookin for my grampa J.A Clanton. Which was CSA out of MO. But I'm havin trouble trackin J.A's grampa down John Clanton is his dad and they are from Alabama also thats why I thought maybe they were conected somehow maybe. Everyone in my family says the trail goes cold at John because of his cherokee blood and that they changed thier name from Clanton to Clinton.
