VIRGINIA FAYE CLANTON
VIRGINIA FAYE CLANTON, 63, was called home to be with her husband, James E. ``Bud'' Clanton and her faithful companion, ``Buster'', on December 8, 1998 in Madisonville, Texas at the home of her son. She was a lifelong resident of Houston. A member of the First Baptist Church, Mrs. Clanton was active in the church choir. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Clanton and his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Eva Gayton and her husband, Bill; sons, Dewey A . Clanton and his wife Mary Kay; and James Supak; sister, Naomi Boyd and her husband, James; brothers, W.R. Steele and his wife, Zelda, and George Steele and his wife, Carolee; grandchildren: Greg, Cindy, Sara, and Ashley; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 1998 at Heights Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 9:30 a .m. Thursday, December 10, 1998 in the Chapel. Graveside se!
rvices will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Hix Cemetery in Caldwell, Texas. Virginia requested that you remember her with flowers of all shapes, sizes, sorts and scents. She now is the brightest flower in God's garden. The family wishes to thank Judith, Janet, and Joyce for all of their loving care. She loved you very much. To Mary Kay: words cannot express how special you are to us. ``Her gentleness of spirit and her peacefulness of soul will forever be missed by all''.
