Do you know if your Clanton/Burke family is related to the Richards family in Texas. This Claude Clanton married a Burke and had a daughter named Dovie as well as a Minnie and a son Claude. Dovie married a Richards. Pat Tunstall
It's Sandra, not Sarah! And no, I do not have documentation that
Charles is the son of Charles. Documentation is what I'm trying to
find! The listing of Charles' children was found on WorldConnect.
That's the only place I have ever seen a Lydia of this time frame
mentioned. I do have a copy of Charles' will and know that he only
mentions Sion and Stephen. I believe he did not mention those children
who had perhaps moved away by the time he made the will, but that
probably cannot be proved!

Hi Louanne: I have some info on the family and live nearby in Ben Lomond.
Tom and Sarah: Do you have documentation that Charles Clanton of Georgia is
the son of Charles Clanton of Union County, SC. Charles of Union County only
names sons Sion and Stephen in his will. Thanks, Tom.
