Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
The website will be moved in the near future to a new home at RootsWeb. I
have just upgraded my status with RootsWeb and purchased more webspace.
With the upcoming holiday season I do not have a time frame to be able to
tell when long awaited additions will be added to the site. The website will
be moved hopefully before the first of November. The updates will take
longer and will keep you informed with the progress.
Thanks to each of you for your contributions to the website and continued
support.
Thanks,
Susan Groover,

Entering Search Criteria
Enter the groom's or bride's name in the format: last name comma space first
name space middle initial (for example, Smith, John D). The first name and
middle initial may be omitted to accomplish a surname search. Searches are
not case sensitive: you may use any combination of upper and lower case
letters. The following types of searches may be conducted:
Enter a groom's name only to return a list of marriages for the groom you
enter.
Enter a bride's name only to return a list of marriages for the bride you
enter.
Enter the groom's and bride's names to return a list of marriages meeting
both criteria.
Use the location option box with any of the above search methods to
designate a STATEWIDE search or a search limited to one county.
Click here for information about how to obtain copies of original marriage
records.
