Thank you for responding. Where can I get a copy of the book on John
Clanton 1610??? and descendents. Thank you.
>>>>>Dorothy, You can get the book from Robert B. CLANTON, 23101 Lake Center
Dr. #330, Lake Forest, CA. 92630, 714/770-4272. The price is about $40 for the
290 page book. There is a companion book of 265 pages,"Clantons in America",
that has about 10,000 records of Births, Marriages, Deaths & Burials by
location. It is priced about the same and is also available through Robert B.

Hi everyone,
I maybe hatching my eggs early, but the weather around here is calling for
"winter weather warnings"...meaning snow mix. Anyway, the place I work, if it
snows will need us and I do not want to take the chance of being called into
work without updating the website. So hence, the website for January is going
to be posted a day or two early even though it is dated for January 1, 1998.
Does anyone have a biography to share for February? Since February is
considered "Lover's" month, if someone has a true love story to share I would
be delighted to hear from you.
I guess this is all the updates I have for the moment.
Please have a safe and Happy New Year...One and ALL!
Susan

It is a Library of Virginia, and go to their Electronic Card indexes, then
Genealogical.
You might find some interesting things.

My name is Kelley Wilkinson and I am looking for Clantons who married into
the Clark family. My first ancestor I know of is Edward and Rachel Clanton
of Wayne County, Indiana. Their daughter Ruth was born here July 28, 1818
and married Caleb Clark. Their other children were Joel, Isaac, Charlie,
Nancy, Polly, and Betsy. The family seems to have ended up in Pike County,
Illinois. Rachel Clanton moved first to Buchannan County, Missouri and
then to Madison County, Iowa with her sons and her daughter Ruth and their
families. I have scanned your page and have not found any sources for this
family. If you know of any or know of anywhere I could possibly find
information on them, I would greatly appreciate a reply at wilk116(a)GTE.NET.
Thank you.
Hi Kelley,

from Robert B. Clanton, 23101 Lake Center Dr. #330, Lake Forest, CA. 92630
(714)770-4272, Edward is listed on page 123. Edward's parents were Benjamin
Clanton(1751-1811) & Elizabeth ?(1751-??). Edward died in 1834 in Adams
Co.,IL. & Rachel MOORE, dau of John MOORE & Nancy ROBERTS, died 4 Sep 1859 in
Madsion Co.,IA. There is too much information to list here on their children &
descendants. Caleb was the son of Phineas CLARK & Charlotte
