Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I know your message was dated several years ago but I am hoping you are still connected.
My husband's great-grandmother was Angeline Clannin (Clanin). Her husband was Patterson Weese - their children were Alta, Isabella and Bertha. Bertha was my husband's grandmother.
Sounds like a family connection. We have family pictures with your last name listed on the back - so I was sure there was a connection.
Do you know or have proof that there was a Native American bloodline? Cherokee perhaps.
