MIGHT BE A RELATIONSHIP - My husband's great grandmother was Angeline Clanin married to Patterson Weese. Their children were Isabel, Alta and Bertha. They were from Fulton (Ipava, Lewistown, Summum). Bertha was my husband's grandmother. Angeline's parents were Alfred Clanin and Leyannora Littleton.
Let me know if there is any connection that you see and also do you know if their is a Cherokee bloodline in the Clanin family?
Stay in touch,
Sandra Baker

RELATION FOUND - Saw your message - not sure what information I can give you. My husband's great-grandmother was Angeline Clanin married to Patterson Weese - Fulton area (Lewistown, Ipava, Summum, etc.). Angeline and Patterson had three children, Isabell, Alta and Bertha. Bertha is my husband's grandmother. I have postcards addressed to Angeline Weese from Alta dated 1916, Wichita, KS and 2 with Viola Brown's name (never mailed) to Angeline Weese.
Do you know if there is Native American bloodline for the Clanin's? My husband was always told that Angeline Clanin was a full bloodied Cherokee.
Stay in touch - there is a relationship.
Thanks,
Sandra Baker
