Karen,
Sorry I can't add very much to her parents, but do have this,
who may or may not be Susanna's parents. I cannot find a William
Duffield in the 1840 or 1850 census that would fit. This is just
using Ancestry.com census records not the actual census rolls.
They have several mistakes in their census index.
Have you checked the History of Grant Co. IN. book?
I'm not sure where her birth location came from. Cousin Jim
------------------------------------------------------------
1830 IN, U.S. census, Marion Co., Washington Twp.
Males:
2 = 10 to 15
2 = 15 to 20
1 = 20 to 30 [must be William]
Females:
1 = under 5
2 = 5 to 10
1 = 30 to 40 {Probably Isabelle]
There is no date on the census, so I don't know when it was
taken. If before 20 July 1830, then the 1 = under 5 would be
Susanna Duffield.
