Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I recently sent away to the Illinois Prairie District Public Library, Metamora branch for some obits that I had found listed in their holdings. Most were on another line I'm working on, but I found 2 for CLANIN, so I thought I would post them here for you also.

ORA CLANIN, Toluca Wholesaler, is Dead After Heart Attack
Ora Rubin Clanin, 63, Toluca Businessman, died suddenly in his home in Toluca April 11 at 5:45 o'clock, from a heart attack. He had been looking after his business throughout the day and returned to his home about three o'clock, when he complained of a pain in his chest. His death followed almost three hours later.
The son of John and Nancy Clanin, Mr. Clanin was born in Switzer, Ind., March 8, 1881. The family moved to Toluca about 50 years ago, where Mr. Clanin was educated. His marriage with Sue Charlton occurred in the family home on Sherman Street in Toluca, Feb. 28, 1908. She preceded him in death in January, 1941.
They become the parents of four children, who survive, Juanita Fauber, teacher in the high school in Wenona; John of Toluca; Ora Jr., at Camp Edwards, Mass., and William at Camp Haan, Calif. The son-in-law, geo. Fauber, formerly of Roanoke, left Fort Sheridan two weeks ago for an undisclosed destination.
There are three grandchildren and three brothers, Palmer and Amos Clanin of Toluca and William of Peoria.
Mr. Clanin was engaged in the wholesale tobacco and liquor business with his brother, Palmer.
Mr. Clanin made all towns in this part of Illinois on his selling rounds and was well known to many. Burial was at Toluca Saturday.

The two months old baby of Mr. And Mrs. George Clannin died on the morning of Dec. 31. The funereal was held from the residence on Wednesday morning, Rev. John Smith being charge of the services.
