Cousins,
If you have need to find the day of the week that an
event occured, Check http://www.cdny.org/calndr.html for
[ 1 January 1583 * to 31 December 4000] Works great.
Cousin Jim
Cousins,
Just in case you have been confused by this term, I got this
from a 'Darke County OH' mail list.
The guys at genealogy.com explain 'once removed' better than I can.
When the word "removed" is used to describe a relationship, it indicates
that
the two people are from different generations. You and your first cousins
are
in the same generation (two generations younger than your grandparents), so
the word "removed" is not used to describe your relationship. The words
"once
removed" mean that there is a difference of one generation. For example,
your
mother's first cousin is your first cousin, once removed. This is because
your mother's first cousin is one generation older than you, but is still
your
first cousin also, just 'once removed'. The same applies to 'second
removed' (etc.).
Cousin Jim
Cousins,
I received word from Doug Clanin that he will be appearing in
Marquis
"Who's Who in America". It will be in the 56th Edition of the book "because
of the reference value of his outstanding achievements".
For some of his accomplishments, type Douglas Clanin in your search
engine. Google.com is a good one.
Just thought I'd pass this along.
Cousin Jim.
