Hello cousins,
Diane asked who this Everell V. Clanin is and who his
parents might be. I really don't know, but theorize that since
he was from Milwalkee, WI., he might be descended from
Thompson Clanin, one of the 8 brothers. Thompson was in
IN. on 9 September 1865 when his son William was born.
He was in WI when his daughter Nancy was born abt 1869.
He bought land in Richland Co., WI in 1866. He had two
sons, Reuben who died as a child and William who died
in Richland Co. WI. He had two sons, Bert L. unknown
children and James V. who had son Paul W. who had
daughters Joy and Lynn. Everell could fit in somewhere.
Since he was a PVT in the Army and died in 1951, I would
think that he was probably no older than 20 years. Meaning
he was born abt. 1930/33. Paul W. was born 18 June 1920.
It is possible that Everell was his brother, but barely. So I
really have no answer that is 'for sure'. I know of no other
WI. Clanins.
Cousin Jim.

I've used it a few times.
Found that Samuel Clanin, son of Benjamin II, born
17 August 1811, died 24 September 1871 in Newburyport,
MA. Buried in Newburyport but cemetery is unknown. I am
writing back to my source to see if he knows the souce of
his info.
If anyone does not have the info on Benjamin II's
descendants, let me know.
Keep in touch
Jim
