Dear Clanin Clan,
I have very sad news to pass on. Cousin Douglas Clanin's
Mother, Sarah E. (Weatherford) Clanin, 84, of Anderson, IN.
died December 6, 2000, at St. John's Medical Center after a
brief illness. She was born September 17, 1916 in Jefferson
County, IN. Services were at 10:00 AM Friday December 8,
2000 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, Anderson, IN.
Officiating Dr. J. Philip Klinger. Final resting place is Memorial
Park Cemetery, Anderson, IN. I met this fine lady once and
she was very nice and delightful. She will be missed by family
and friends.

Hi gang,
Does anyone have info on these Clanins? I have a Clayton and
Clifford,
sons of Thompson and Elizabeth Rutherford Clanin. Would be about the
correct time period. Clayton married a Marge Unknown. This could be them.
Hope everyone is geared up for Christmas. Have a Happy One!

Hi Cousins,
I found this on my Massex mailing list to which I subscribe. I have just
listed the pertinet information, rather than all the excerpts.
Newburyport Herald, April 11, 1809 excerpts include - ....
"3/31/1809 Benjamin CLANIN removed to Sourtheast end of Middle Street -
teaching reading, writing, grammar, arithmetic, bookkeeping, navigation,
surveying, gauging, spherics, natical astronomy, geography, use of globes and
mensuration."
We are looking forward to enjoying time with our four grandchildren during
the holidays. Our youngest is two and she is very much in awe of the entire
season.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you.
Linda Clanin-Bryant
