Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

My mother is Margaret mc gloin nee Clancy her father was James Clancy not sure of james fathers name his mother name was Annie Mc Geever I have little more information on them. I live in the Kinlough area. Im not sure if we are the same Clancys. Daniel is a name that ran through the Clancy family.

Nothing looks like it connects to anything I have.
My dad, who's mom was a Clancy, claimed that none of his relatives were from Brooklyn, only my moms!

Nancy, If by chance you see this, do you know of a connection to a Michael Clancy born about 1824 ? I am unsure of a relation connection but on an 1860 Census for my McCaffrey - Ronan family in NYC 197 E. 33rd, Michael a carpenter was in same building. My GG Grandfather Patrick Ronan was one as well. Then oddly enough his eldest son Thomas was living at 931 Lincoln Place in 1929 and Sterling Court strikes a cord as well.
It could be coincidence but then again maybe not.
