I don't know if you are still on here as it has been several ears since your post. I have been doing family research and came across the name Mildred Stoddard. As far as I know that is her maiden name. I don't know if it's the same one I'm looking for but she would have been born in the early 1900s or the late 1800s. Please message me and let me know if this could be the same Mildred Stoddard.
I have a ton of questions.
thanks

Does anyone know if a James Clancy married Margaret Little of the Protestant faith in or around Dublin, Ireland about 1938? I am trying to search for my grandmother, but although genealogists have tried, they have not been able to find a marriage of these two people throughout Ireland. Perhaps then they were intending to marry, but did not go through with it?

Hi Tara,
My GG Grandmother was Catherine Clancy who was married to Patrick Feeney. They emigrated to MD from County Galway abt 1866. A distant cousin had told me that Catherine's sister was Margaret Clancy-Donahue. I am really hoping this is the same family. Do you know if she was related to a Catherine Clancy-Feeney in MD? If so we are related.
I made a note of what Rita said in 2006 and copied/pasted it below. Does any of this sound like your family? I wonder who their parents were back in Galway? Thanks for the post! Maureen

Cousin Rita Warfield stated to me that Catherine Clancy's sister was a one Margaret Clancy-Donohue, who had relatives in the Pittsburgh PA & Washington, DC area. MM on May 28, 2006
