Hi,
I have a lot of information on the Clancy's that settled around Hay and
Booligal (in Australia) if that's of any help to you. Many then travelled
north through Comboyne and Dorrigo.

Ian Mooney

Some of the Clancy boys didn't make it as far as the USA :o)
My ancestor Edward Cornelius Clancy was from Cork and settled in London England, know all about him from then on but know nothing about his life in Ireland.
(In fact there is some doubt that he was from Ireland at all - and that he was born in London of Irish parents).
Good luck everyone with your searches.

Hi Joe,
It would be nice if some how all of us Clancy's in Amreica could find out where in the world in Ireland were they born.
My father's side of the family left Ireland and lived in Louisville, Ky. The only thing they had on their death certificates were they were born in Ireland, one had Co. Mayo. My uncle was Patrick Clancy b. 1842 and his brother was my grandfather John Joseph Clancy b. 1845. In a census a couple were living with my grandfather and I think it was his parents. James Clancy b. 1815 and Margaret Herity n. 1810 (not sure if this is the right spelling on the name).
Now how are you working to get Clancy family information together? I'm reaching out because you are living in Ireland and maybe can help some of us

I am interested in trying to piece some of the puzzle that is the Clancy family tree.
It would be good to hear from fellow Clancy members, who are in the same position
