Margaret Clancy-Donahue, was reported to me, my G/G Grandmother, Catherine Clancy-Feeney's sister. They were from Spiddal, County Galway Ireland originally. My cousin told me that her family settled in the Washington DC & Pittsburgh, PA areas. Any family member should just post and/or email me. Thanks Maureen

Do you have any information on this Patrick Clancy's (Lisnafaha) siblings and/or parents? I have been trying to figure out if/how he is connected to Hugh Clancy of Glenconane, Kildysert, Co Clare. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Having read this information I would just like to correct it for the record in case anyone else is researching info. Patrick (Patty) Clancy (Lisnafaha) and Anne Sheedy (Lisnafaha) married in 1901 and had 14 children and did not go to the States. They remained in Lisnafaha, Co. Clare, Ireland. Patrick (Patty) Clancy also had 2 children from his first marriage to Mary Melican also of Co.Clare

Hi Maria, Thanks for all the info you gave me on my Clancys. My grandfather Patrick was one of 7 or 8 children of Beagh,Dromahair, County Leitrim. As far as I know, he was the only one to leave Ireland. He came to NY in the 1920's. All the other siblings never married. He married and had 2 children, 8 grandchildren, and soon to be 22 great-grandchildren. His sister was Katie Clancy who ran the post office in Beagh, Dromahair until the late 1960's.
